USC Provost Payroll is the compensation and payroll department of the Office of the Provost. Partnering closely with Provost HR, our team is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely compensation of staff members, faculty, and student workers supported by our department. Additionally, we help ensure a smooth onboarding process for student workers and assist departments in adhering to university compensation policies, regulations and procedures.

In total, Provost Payroll provides services to over fifty university divisions, departments and offices and also function as the liaison between units under the Office of the Provost and USC’s University Payroll Services office.

USC Provost Payroll is part of Provost Shared Services, a group of five business units within the Office of the Provost which provide strategic expertise on a wide range of business, technology and personnel functions.
